Scientific Interests

  • Solar wind and solar activity, turbulence of solar wind velocity and heliospheric magnetic field; interaction of solar wind and Earth's magnetic field, propagation of galactic cosmic rays (GCR) in heliosphere and local interstellar medium (LISM), interactions of solar wind and LISM; 27days, 11-year and 22-year variations of GCR, Forbush effects and solar anisotropy of GCR; solar dynamo and differential rotation of the Sun.

  • Numerical analyses and solution of four dimensional (4-D) time-dependent transport equation (partial differential equation) of GCR propagation in the heliosphere.

  • An application of Einstein-Smoluchowski equation's and Winners process (Brownian motion) to sub, super and normal diffusion of GCR in regular and turbulent interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) for different epochs of solar activity and solar magnetic cycles.

  • Study of solar wind (solar wind velocity and frozen in IMF) and the GCR intensity fluctuations based on satellites and interplanetary probes' data (Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, Ulysses and other).
